Accommodation at our surf camp consists of a clean and comfy traditional Spanish villa with four bedrooms (one double and three quadruples). It also comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a large living room. Decorated in the Mediterranean style, the surf house boasts a spacious garden, terrace with BBQ, plus a swimming pool with sunbathing area. While at home, guests are free to relax in front of the television, use the complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, socialize, swim or relax with a good book.
Depending on the surf camp package, breakfast and dinner may be self-catered or prepared by the chef at KoHoLa Surf Camp Fuerteventura.
Surf school at KoHoLa Surf Camp Fuerteventura generally begins at 10AM, when the instructor arrives to take guests to the surf spot with the best conditions on that day. Lessons are given in English and can take place at several different locations on the island. Safety instructions are always provided carefully and step-by-step. Since Fuerteventura does not have many cafés or restaurants that are on the beach, surf lessons are normally given as one long daily session with a return to the surf house at around 3PM. Later in the afternoon, guests can enjoy a siesta, a refreshing dip in the pool or a hike to the local volcano to witness the spectacular sunset. A couple of times per week, more extensive sightseeing trips are organized to places such as volcanic black-sand beaches, mountain viewpoints and other attractions on the island.
One of Spain’s Canary Islands, the startlingly beautiful island of Fuerteventura boasts a wide variety of natural and geographical features, including warm crystal-clear waters; white and black sand beaches, stunning volcanoes and secluded bays. Situated in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of northwest Africa, the Canaries experience warm weather all year long. Temperatures rarely dip under 20 or top 30°C. With 300 annual days of sunshine, long stretches of beach and consistent waves, the island of Fuerteventura is one of Europe’s top surf destinations.
KoHoLa Surf Camp Fuerteventura is situated in the resort town of Corralejo, close to the island’s best surf spots. All amenities, such as shops, restaurants and bars, can be found in Corralejo town centre, which is also just 40 minutes on foot or 15 minutes via bicycle from the local volcanoes.
